Job description

Overview
OVERVIEW - Seeking a Color Match Specialist for part time work in our custom mortar lab.
HOURS - 15-20 hours per week
SALARY - $22.00 p/h
Responsibilities
  • Sample preparation of custom and non-custom mortar products
  • Support internal customers for custom color matching
  • Prepare new color, mortar channels using computer aided software
  • Mix and blend colorants to produce acceptable color mortars from customer samples
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • High school diplomas or equivalent
  • Experience working with computerized instruments for color matching (colorimeters, spectrophotometers, etc.)
  • Some knowledge of computer matching software
  • Some knowledge of portland, lime and cement
  • Ability to mix mortar and grout ingredients (cement, lime, sand)
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills
  • Strong computer literacy
