Job description

Obeys all plant/safety rules and complies with all OSHA regulations.
Performs changeovers as needed.
Ensures that make-ready at Press is set up correctly and makes any required modifications.
Prepares rolls to be hung on front of press.
Maintains inks at press side and maintain the correct viscosity of the ink.
Maintains quality of printed project, to include color match and register when LG 62 is not available.
Maintains production records and inventory records.
Removes completed roll from press and prepares roll for transport/storage.
Maintains good housekeeping practices and proper safety procedures.
Must be able to use independent judgment to evaluate the operations of the press to ensure a quality product.
Receives training for next labor grade in order to gain a general knowledge of Press operations, which includes being physically able/capable of performing the duties and responsibilities in the forced progression within the Press Department.
Operates power industrial truck as needed.
Performs other duties assigned.
