Job Description
The Junior Swim Instructor is an entry-level role designed for individuals interested in learning how to teach swim lessons. In this position, you will train alongside experienced instructors, assist with class activities, and help ensure a safe, positive environment for all participants. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience while developing teaching and water safety skills. Duties/Responsibilities
• Assist lead instructors during swim lessons with instruction, organization, and participant support
• Help set up and clean up equipment before and after lessons
• Provide encouragement and basic guidance to swimmers under instructor supervision
• Observe and learn teaching techniques, class management, and water safety skills
• Support swimmer safety by following all pool rules and emergency procedures
• Demonstrate professionalism in all interactions, including with participants, families, and staff
• Maintain a positive, approachable, and energetic attitude.
