Job description

Salary: $14.00 per hour

The City of Lawrenceburg is currently accepting applications for seasonal Lifeguards at the Pat O'Neill Memorial Pool. Applicants must have a valid Lifeguard Certification issued by the American Red Cross and must be at least 16 years old. The season for the Pat O'Neill Memorial Pool runs through September.

The City of Lawrenceburg will reimburse the cost of Lifeguard training for any Lifeguard hired and remains actively employed as a Lifeguard with the City of Lawrenceburg for the 2026 season.

Prolonged periods of sitting in guard chair as well as standing while remaining alert and aware of activities in and around the pool. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distant vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Talk, hear, and speak, walking, stooping, crouching. Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds unassisted.
