Heavy Equipment Operator Grading Division


Our Jobs are located between Hampton Roads and Richmond, VA


MUST OPERATE THE FOLLOWING EFFICIENTLY:

Dozers, Excavators, Loaders, Backhoes, and Bobcats;Experience with Motor Graders a plus!

The ideal candidate will have experience in operating heavy equipment to spread, cut, and level dirt, gravel, and stone to the job specifications. Must be willing and able to work in team environment.


Major Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Fine Grade to specificationsin construction and maintenance of earthwork structures, such as highways, streets, temporary roads and site developments.
  • Operates equipment at the required production pacewhile observing reference stakes or hand signals of assisting workers
  • Level surface to specified grade-Observe grade stakes, or other markings when operating machines so that work can be performed to specifications.
  • Safely operates machines, performs minor maintenance and up-keep of equipment-Assist in the placement, moving and dismantling of signs, barricades, cones and other traffic control devices.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years' operating heavy equipment specifically FINE GRADING
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Requires extensive physical ability
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal communication and written instructions


MUST be able to work Monday - Saturday
