Apply to join Color and do the most meaningful work of your career. If you are not sure that you’re 100% qualified but are up for the challenge - we want you to apply!

The Role:
We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to own our Core Services platform- the foundational infrastructure and user experience powering Color’s business operations. This platform drives our end to end customer implementations, lab and fulfillment operations, and underlying core services (such as authentication). This role is responsible for driving the product strategy and roadmap for the next generation of our business-enabling platform- making it faster and easier to onboard customers, configure products, manage billing and eligibility, and operate our lab and fulfillment systems at scale. This is a highly cross-functional role that will partner closely with Customer Success, Sales, Finance, Legal, Implementations, Product, Engineering, and Design.

This role is ideal for someone who is both strategic and pragmatic- someone who thrives tackling complex problems to provide urgent solutions to today’s issues while building the reliable, scalable systems that lets the business move fast. We are looking for someone who will lead the integration of AI into both how we build and what we build. Success in this role means enabling Color to scale its business operations- reducing friction for customers, accelerating implementation timelines, and building the platform reliability and self-service capabilities that the company depends on.

How You'll Contribute:

  • Create the next-generation vision for the Core Services platform in alignment with Color’s goals and vision to leverage AI to drive business efficiency and customer success

  • Drive the strategy and roadmap for Core Services, including customer implementations, billing, eligibility, contract configuration, fulfillment, lab systems, and authentication

  • Lead the integration of advanced technologies- deeply embedding AI to automate operational workflows, reduce manual effort, and accelerate customer time-to-value

  • Lead a cross-functional team to deliver product changes that meaningfully improve operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and Color’s ability to scale

  • Leverage, advocate for and enable self-service and “AI builder” capabilities, while maintaining the flexibility, integrity, and safety of our systems

  • Provide thought leadership on novel approaches to business automation, self-service configuration, and platform extensibility

  • Collaborate and drive alignment with execs, business operations leaders, customers, and cross-functional stakeholders to balance customer experience, operational efficiency, and business goals

  • Collaborate with data teams to define and track metrics that measure the impact of the Core Services platform on operational efficiency, customer onboarding, and system reliability

  • Champion Color’s culture and lead by example- we work hard and also have fun doing it!

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • 5+ years of product management experience, preferably with a focus on business operations platforms, internal tooling, or customer-facing implementation and configuration systems

  • Excellent communication skills- able to break down complex topics and adjust to the audience

  • Experience building complex operational workflows or business platforms (e.g., billing, eligibility, customer onboarding, or configuration systems)

  • Experience working with subject matter experts users and complex stakeholder groups

  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives including multiple teams with different functions

  • Demonstrated ability to dive into highly technical problems alongside engineers (interfaces, data modeling, events, etc.) and influence the solution design choices

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver highly impactful solutions with urgency

  • Demonstrated experience and enthusiasm for using and experimenting with AI and emerging technologies as an unlock in daily team productivity

  • Highly collaborative and shows up as a strong teammate within product and the company as a whole

  • A drive to learn, iterate, and adapt quickly to deliver the best outcomes for our customers and business in a dynamic environment

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with eligibility file standards (EDI 834) or healthcare billing and claims systems

  • Experience building or integrating AI-enabled products

  • Experience consolidating fragmented systems into unified platforms

  • Proficiency in SQL

Possible Projects To Contribute To:

  • Customer Implementation Platform: building self-service and automated tooling to reduce manual effort in customer onboarding, product configuration, and contract setup- accelerating time-to-launch and enabling the operations team to scale without headcount.

  • Eligibility and Billing Modernization: unifying eligibility file ingestion, member management, and billing infrastructure into a reliable, auditable system that reduces errors, accelerates reconciliation, and surfaces actionable data to Finance and Operations teams in real time.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary

  • ✨ Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life, and disability benefits

  • 401k match

  • Monthly phone and wifi stipend for employees, annual ergonomic stipend

  • Generous vacation policy, paid holidays and company-wide recharge days

  • Equal paid parental leave for birthing and non-birthing parents

  • Free cancer screening and prevention resources for employees and their adult dependents

Base Salary Range: $170,000 - 200,000/yr

The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: work experience, market data, skills, geographic location, and business need. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for equity and benefits.
