Rendering, Deliverables & QC
Your precision ensures every frame meets the highest standards.
  • Render graded media in required formats and specifications.
  • Generate client deliverables and alternate versions.
  • Perform meticulous quality control on all outputs, validating image quality, color accuracy, and file integrity.
  • Package and distribute deliverables via secure transfer systems, cloud services, or physical media.
  • Maintain backups and archives, documenting completion notes and delivery records.

You’ll keep projects organized from start to finish.
  • Manage media transfers, backups, restores, and archive requests.
  • Track assets across SAN, cloud, and client‑supplied storage.
  • Enforce naming conventions and organizational standards.
  • Safeguard data integrity and client confidentiality.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration
The Color Assistant also supports other departments to ensure smooth operations across the studio.

  • Assist with media prep, conform verification, rendering, and delivery.
  • Perform QC on final outputs and manage archives.
  • Provide coverage during peak workloads or team absences.

Editorial Support (Avid / Premiere):
  • Help with project setup, media ingest, transcoding, and assistant editor tasks.
  • Manage versioning, exports, and deliverables.
  • Support posting, graphics prep, and archiving.

WHAT YOU BRING:

You bring a strong foundation in post‑production technology and workflows.
  • Working knowledge of DaVinci Resolve and professional color grading pipelines.
  • Understanding of digital cinema cameras, codecs, color spaces, and file formats.
  • Familiarity with SAN/NAS/cloud storage environments and professional video standards.
  • Experience with media management and file transfer technologies.
  • Solid grasp of editorial workflows and conform processes.

Preferred Experience
Bonus points if you’ve worked across multiple creative platforms.
  • Autodesk Flame, Avid Media Composer, Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • Adobe Photoshop and After Effects.
  • Remote review technologies and workflow automation or scripting.
