Overview

Our internal experts, together with our network of affiliated experts from academia, industry, and government, offer our clients exceptional breadth and depth of expertise.
The Compliance Analyst works closely with the Compliance Team to organize, manage, and support the firm's compliance efforts. These efforts are centered on responding to client requests for information about the firm's capabilities, projects, policies and practices, and IT/data security infrastructure.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with the Compliance Team to:
    • Respond to client requests for information. Key aspects of this task include understanding the scope of the client request, analyzing questions, evaluating similar prior inquiries, drafting an initial response, working with colleagues across the firm to collect additional information, and submitting the final response.
    • Create, update, and maintain database of questionnaire and RFI responses within AG's software to facilitate responding to questionnaires. Key aspects of this task include identifying and cataloging model responses.
    • Ensure completion of AG-required training by AG employees. Key aspects of this task include weekly monitoring of completion of new hire training, monitoring of annual training initiatives, and follow-up with employees who do not complete training in a timely manner.
    • Manage client-specific requests for training of Analysis Group (AG) staff. Key aspects of this task include tracking client requests for training, determining the subset of staff that must receive training, ensuring that staff receive training, and ensuring that training is documented to client specifications.
    • Assist in the due diligence of third parties engaged by AG. Key aspects of this task include checking third parties against various ineligibility lists and maintaining an up-to-date tracking of status of third parties.
    • Manage client requests for compliance with client-specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Key aspects of this task include tracking cases requiring client-specific SOP compliance, ensuring AG project teams receive appropriate SOP training, and enhancing the system by which compliance can be documented and monitored for each case.
  • Perform general administrative tasks, such as email filing, team task tracking, locating information within the Compliance team records, maintaining and updating team knowledge share, etc.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of substantive relevant experience required.
  • An ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in a compliance department or professional services industry.
  • Paralegal certificate or experience as a paralegal preferred.
  • Accuracy, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability are critical.
  • Must take initiative, assume ownership of tasks and workload, and seek opportunities to learn.
  • Must have strong customer service skills and superior written and oral communication skills.
  • Must be able to organize and work on multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize projects, meet deadlines and be flexible in order to respond to shifting demands from colleagues and clients.
  • Project and/or process management experience valued.
  • Must exhibit good judgment and ability to be trusted with confidential information.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Teams, and SharePoint, preferred.
  • An inclusive and growth-oriented mindset, strong interpersonal skills, and an ability to work across differences.

Compensation offered will be based on a number of factors including work experience, education, and skill level.
