Job Summary:
Nubank is the world’s largest digital banking platform outside of Asia, serving over 123 million customers across Brazil, Mexico, and Colombia. They are seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer to lead the technical evolution of their Credit Card platform, focusing on leveraging AI for operational efficiency and overseeing a global migration strategy.
Responsibilities:
• Define the long-term roadmap for decommissioning legacy systems, starting with the 1-year migration plan for the Colombian market.
• Architect and integrate AI solutions (cloud-based agents) to automate infrastructure maintenance and data migration.
• Collaborate with General Managers, PMs, and Staff+ ICs to align technical decisions with business needs across different countries.
• Mentor senior engineers, fostering a culture of pragmatism, excellence in distributed systems, and the adoption of cutting-edge AI tools.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 15+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on large-scale distributed systems.
• Proven experience leading critical system migrations and managing coexistence between old and new architectures.
