Job description

The Collision Center Estimator is responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience while providing accurate repair estimates and coordinating the repair process from start to finish. This position serves as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring clear communication and outstanding service throughout the repair experience.

In addition to estimating collision repairs, the Estimator will actively develop new business by building relationships with current dealership service clients and identifying collision repair opportunities. This role is also responsible for managing warranty-related collision claims for new vehicle inventory and working closely with the Sales, Service, Parts, and Body Shop teams to ensure repairs are completed efficiently and to manufacturer standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate and timely collision repair estimates.
  • Deliver outstanding guest service through consistent communication and follow-up.
  • Coordinate with technicians, insurance companies, and customers throughout the repair process.
  • Develop new collision repair business by engaging existing dealership service customers.
  • Manage warranty-related collision claims for new vehicle inventory.
  • Ensure repairs meet Ford and Lincoln manufacturer standards and dealership quality expectations.
  • Maintain complete and accurate repair documentation.
  • Collaborate with dealership departments to provide a seamless customer experience.

Qualifications

  • Previous Collision Center Estimator experience preferred.
  • Excellent customer service and guest relations skills.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management abilities.
  • Ability to build relationships and generate business from existing dealership customers.
  • Experience with collision estimating software and OEM repair procedures preferred.
  • Knowledge of Ford and Lincoln warranty processes is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
