Program Calendar: 8:00am - 4:00pm, Every Wednesday, May - August
Internship Prerequisites:
  1. Internship candidates must have successfully completed their freshman year of university/college studies and are returning to school for their sophomore year to qualify for this internship.
  2. Possess and provide self-transportation to/from Gateway office and required local project sites.
  3. Demonstrate the desire to grow personally and professionally.

Gateway Internships
Internships at Gateway are designed to provide the intern with practical industry training and real-project exposure through experiential learning. Freshman level Interns spend their time primarily in developmental training sessions, and supplement training with participation on real project teams to gain a contextual understanding of Gateway's practice areas and how they are integrated to develop and deliver solutions to our clients.
Responsibilities
Developmental Training:
  • Environmental Health & Safety training with tiered certification
  • Design Technology training
  • Site Design training
  • Plan/Spec Overview
  • Client project site visits
