Job description

Collector
AllSouth Federal Credit Union is currently seeking a Collector to perform collection activities associated with first payment defaults and 20-to-30-day delinquencies.
Responsibilities: Communicate with members in collections status. Determine reason for delinquency and work toward a permanent solution. Review delinquent accounts, perform collection efforts in accordance with Credit Union policies and procedures and legal requirements; document all collection actions taken; and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous collections experience desired, preferably with a full-service financial institution.
  • Careful attention to detail.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
This position starts at a minimum of $18.90 per hour.
