Job description

Help protect our customers and our firm by ensuring court-ready sworn document packages are accurate, complete, and delivered on time. In this role, you will support meaningful recovery work tied to defaulted business lending while building deep expertise in litigation documentation, quality controls, and deadline management. You will work alongside experienced partners across credit recovery and legal teams, where precision and sound judgment make a real difference. If you thrive in fast-paced environments and take pride in getting the details right, this is an opportunity to grow your skills and impact.

As a Sworn Document Prep Analyst within Business Banking Managed Assets, you support the preparation and quality review of sworn legal documents and supporting exhibits used in collections and recovery actions. You will help ensure sensitive information is appropriately protected through redaction and that document packages meet internal standards before filing. You will work closely with cross-functional partners, including managers, litigation officers, and in-house counsel, in a team culture that values accuracy, accountability, and collaboration.

Job responsibilities

  • Prepare sworn legal documents and supporting packages, including motions, affidavits, declarations, affirmations, and exhibits
  • Review loan and account documentation to identify and apply redaction needs before documents are used externally
  • Organize supporting exhibits and attachments into clear, court-ready document sets
  • Perform peer reviews of sworn document packages to confirm completeness, accuracy, and consistency across documents
  • Verify key document details such as party names, captions, signatures, dates, formatting, and required attachments
  • Track due dates and manage daily priorities to meet time-sensitive litigation and recovery deadlines
  • Coordinate reviews and approvals with internal partners to keep packages moving through required checkpoints
  • Escalate urgent issues, missing information, or deadline risks promptly and clearly
  • Collaborate with managers, litigation officers, and in-house counsel to resolve questions and align on document requirements
  • Maintain strong quality controls while handling high-volume workflows and rapid turnaround requests
  • Identify process gaps and suggest practical improvements that support accuracy and timeliness

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 2+ years of experience preparing and/or reviewing legal pleadings or court-ready document packages and supporting exhibits
  • Ability to apply redaction practices to protect confidential, personal, or privileged information
  • Working knowledge of commercial loan documentation (for example, notes, security agreements, and guaranties)
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify inconsistencies across related documents
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities with competing deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for clear coordination with internal partners and ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience in a legal, collections, loss mitigation, or credit recovery environment
  • Experience supporting commercial collections litigation workflows
  • Experience preparing or reviewing legal pleadings
  • Experience assembling fact verification packages or similar supporting documentation
