Dental Administrator and Treatment Coordinator

MHMI

Kitchener, ON

Full-time

Re-posted 13 days ago

Job description

About Us

Toothworks Fairview Park Dental is a welcoming, patient-focused clinic serving the Kitchener community from one of the region's most accessible locations. As part of the Toothworks (Dentalcorp) network, we offer extended hours 7 days a week to make dental care as convenient as possible for our patients - and we're looking for a team member who shares that commitment.

The Role

This is a front-line role that blends reception, treatment coordination, and patient communication. You'll be the face and voice of our clinic - the person who sets the tone the moment a patient walks in or calls. We need someone with a warm, approachable personality, a strong work ethic, and a genuine enthusiasm for making every patient feel taken care of.

Our extended hours mean your schedule will include evenings and weekends. If you're someone who values flexibility and variety in your workweek, this is a great fit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome patients and manage front desk operations with efficiency and warmth.
  • Schedule appointments, manage confirmations, and handle multi-line phone inquiries.
  • Verify, submit, and follow up on insurance claims accurately and promptly.
  • Present and explain treatment plans to patients, including Invisalign, periodontal, and orthodontic treatments.
  • Manage collections and support the achievement of clinic operational goals.
  • Use Abeldent software to maintain patient records, treatment plans, and scheduling.
  • Coordinate treatment planning with our dental specialists.
  • Support the clinical team with day-to-day workflow and miscellaneous operational needs.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous dental office experience is mandatory.
  • Proficiency with Abeldent dental software strongly preferred; experience with any dental practice management software is an asset.
  • Comfortable operating a multi-line phone system in a high-volume environment.
  • Flexible availability - must be able to work a rotating schedule including evenings and weekends.
  • Strong independent work ethic with the ability to collaborate as part of a team.
  • Naturally puts people at ease - warm, professional, and genuinely enthusiastic about patient care.
  • Positive, dependable, and able to bring your best self to every shift.

How to Apply

If you're an experienced dental administrator looking for a role with variety, flexible scheduling, and a team that genuinely cares about its patients, we'd love to hear from you. Please submit your resume and a brief cover letter through Indeed.

Toothworks is committed to an inclusive and welcoming workplace and encourages applications from all qualified candidates.
