Job description

BASIC PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF POSITION:

The Kubota Credit Corporation Rep I, Collections is responsible for delivering an exceptional experience to customers that finance and lease Kubota equipment.ย  The Rep I will provide timely, accurate and responsive information and service to Kubota customers and dealers.ย  Customer interaction will include both support and collections efforts.

ย 

PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES:ย  This position does the following in accordance with all applicable Federal, State and local laws / regulations and the Companyโ€™s policies, procedures and guidelines:

  • Provide exceptional service to KCC customers and dealers in a fast-paced, omnichannel call center environment.
  • Demonstrate a high degree of professionalism and respect to promote a positive brand image and customer loyalty.
  • Receive and make outbound calls to resolve customer issues and perform early-stage collections for both consumer and commercial accounts.
  • Establish relationships and communicate effectively with internal teams including Loan Administration, Titles, Loss Mitigation, KTAC and the Loan Origination Center.
  • Strive to continuously improve while achieving individual and departmental objectives.
  • Contribute to a culture that is passionate about providing an exceptional customer experience.
  • Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; some college preferred.ย ย ย 
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow.
  • 1+ years of customer service or collections experience; automated dialer experience is preferred.
  • Interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with customers, dealers, peers and management.
  • Strong customer service and active listening skills to uncover stated and unstated needs.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.ย 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to type 40+ words per minute.
  • Basic knowledge of collection technique and Fair Debt Collection Practices Act procedures is preferred.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.ย  Bilingual is a plus, but not a job requirement.ย 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Typical office environment.

  • Must be able to complete daily tasks within the allotted time.ย 
  • Must be able to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision.ย ย ย
