Job description

Summary of Role:
This role is primarily responsible for accurate check posting, managing incoming and outgoing mail, and ensuring timely scanning and distribution of documents to the appropriate internal teams. A Notary Public certification is strongly preferred.
Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:
  • Post incoming payments (checks) accurately and timely into internal systems
  • Prepare and process outgoing mail, including sorting, labeling, and shipment coordination
  • Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages
  • Scan and index incoming mail/documents to the appropriate departments and team members
  • Track and log incoming payments and mail to ensure proper routing and accountability
  • Assist with basic data entry and clerical support tasks as needed
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and confidentiality requirements
  • Perform notary services when required (if certified)

Minimum Job Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous clerical, administrative, or payment processing experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, especially with financial transactions
  • Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, document scanning systems, and data entry)
  • Ability to manage routine, repetitive tasks with consistency and efficiency
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Active Notary Public certification (or willingness to obtain)

  • Office-based role
  • May require sitting for extended periods and occasional standing, walking, and lifting mail trays or packages

Starting Compensation: $18.91 - $22.69/hr., plus a competitive benefits package
