About the role

Nous sommes a la recherche d'un(e) Conseill.ere Technique, Indemnisation lignes specialisees (FinPro+) qui jouera un role essentiel dans le soutien de notre croissance en assurance specialisee.

Sous la direction des Reclamations en Lignes Specialisees, a titre de Conseill.ere Technique, Indemnisation lignes specialisees (FinPro+) (Quebec), vous devrez, comme expert en sinistre, assister le client dans le cadre de reclamations en responsabilite professionnelle (E&O) et en responsabilite des administrateurs et dirigeants (D&O), en crime financier et risques cyber. Vous devrez analyser la recevabilite de la reclamation, conduire l'enquete pour determiner la responsabilite potentielle de l'assure et/ou des tiers, evaluer les dommages reclames et negocier, le cas echeant, un reglement, tout en veillant, a chacune des etapes, a offrir a l'assure un service client exceptionnel.

De concert avec nos avocats, vous devrez, traiter des dossiers litigieux, elaborer des strategies et envisager les modes alternatifs de reglements de conflits dans ces dossiers.

Lieu de travail : Montreal (2020 boul. Robert-Bourassa), Laval (600 rue Lucien-Paiement), St-Hyacinthe (2450 rue Girouard O) ou Quebec (5700 boul. des Galeries).

Ce que vous ferez :

  • Etre a l'ecoute du client, expliquer clairement le parcours qu'entreprendra la reclamation, repondre a ses questions et livrer un service qui depasse ses attentes.

  • Analyser les garanties d'assurance du client et expliquer clairement quelles sont les protections en lien avec la reclamation presentee.

  • Evaluer la responsabilite potentielle de l'assure et/ou de tierce partie en appuyant son raisonnement sur des elements d'enquete pertinents et bien etayes.

  • Evaluer le caractere raisonnable et la recevabilite des dommages reclames a l'assure.

  • Communiquer efficacement avec le client pour l'informer des developpements.

  • Bien annoter et documenter son dossier en respectant les normes et directives de l'entreprise.

  • Negocier efficacement, si opportun, les reclamations.

  • Assurer une saine gestion des frais et des couts externes.

  • Collaborer activement avec les divers services tel que la souscription, la distribution, le contentieux, ainsi qu'avec les courtiers.

  • Participer aux catastrophes lorsqu'elles se presentent.

  • Assister a des conferences de reglement a l'amiable et a des proces.

  • Maintenir a jour ses connaissances et participer aux developpements de collegues.

Ce que vous mettez a profit :

  • Diplome d'etude collegiale (DEC) et/ou formation equivalente ou jugee pertinente.

  • DEC en assurance / Baccalaureat en droit (un atout).

  • Detenir un permis 5a valide aupres de l'AMF.

  • Experience de 5 a 7 ans a titre d'expert en sinistre E&O D&O ou experience equivalente.

  • Bilinguisme (francais / anglais) - Necessite de traiter des dossiers de reclamations d'une clientele anglophone sur une base reguliere.
