About the Opportunity

Important: Only applicants with active, postpaid UScellular mobile service (billed by the carrier UScellular) are eligible for this role.

Were looking for dependable, detail-oriented individuals to participate in carrier-specific answer rate data collection using a UScellular mobile line, which is required to perform carrier-specific testing.

This role focuses on collecting and reporting structured call performance data using UScellular service. It is a flexible, part-time opportunity that allows you to work remotely while contributing data used to evaluate call delivery and network performance.

This data collection initiative focuses on mobile networks in Iowa (priority), Minnesota, and Texas, and candidates must be located in one of these states to participate.

Eligibility Requirements

To be considered, you must:

  • Reside in Iowa (priority), Minnesota, or Texas, which is required for location-specific network data collection
  • Must have an active postpaid mobile service with the carrier UScellular (service is billed by UScellular; prepaid plans are not eligible), which is required to perform carrier-specific testing.
  • Service with Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, or other carriers does not qualify.
  • Own a compatible mobile device required for network data collection
  • Have a reliable internet connection and access to a computer
  • Be able to communicate reliably via email and Slack

Job Description

As an Answer Rate Data Collector, you will assist with collecting structured data related to call answer rates and call delivery. All activities are limited to testing and reporting no sales, conversations, or customer interaction are required.

Key Responsibilities

Data collection activities may include:

  • Batch Testing: Triggering test calls to your own mobile device using a provided list and logging results accurately (no talking required)
  • Following testing instructions, schedules, and reporting requirements

Each task is brief, typically requiring less than one minute per call.

Compensation

  • Estimated pay rate: $20 USD per hour, based on testing activity
  • Expected commitment: approximately 2 hours per week, depending on test volume
  • Paid via standard U.S. payroll methods
  • Part-time W-2 position
  • No benefits except where required by law
