Job description

At Big Dreamers ABA, we are transforming the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy for children. Job Summary:
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with children and individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities. You will implement behavior intervention plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to support clients in improving their social, communication, and daily living skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one ABA therapy under the guidance of a BCBA.

  • Implement behavior intervention plans and track client progress through data collection.

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of individualized treatment plans.

  • Work closely with families and caregivers to ensure the consistent application of behavior strategies.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and medical records.

  • Support clients in their daily living activities (ADLs) and social interactions.

  • Conduct structured teaching sessions using ABA principles.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is preferred.

  • Familiarity with ABA principles and techniques.

  • Ability to effectively engage with children and adolescents.

  • Experience in special education or behavioral health settings is a plus.

  • Knowledge of medical documentation, care plans, and patient care practices.

Additional Requirements:

  • Genuine passion for working with children and helping them achieve their goals.

  • Strong desire to learn about Autism and ABA Therapy.

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

  • High School Diploma required; Bachelorโ€™s Degree (completed or in progress) preferred.

  • Prior experience working with children is a plus.

  • Must possess a valid driverโ€™s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
