As we continue to expand our commerce ecosystem, we're looking for a leader to build and scale our next generation of live and social commerce experiences.
Position Overview
The Procurement Specialist, Collectibles will play a key role in helping VeeFriends bring limited-edition products to market on a consistent basis. This role will focus on the acquisition, tracking, and management of collectible items, including comics, trading cards, pins, coins, memorabilia, and other specialty products.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, operationally strong, and excited by the collectibles space. They should be comfortable managing multiple product timelines, coordinating with vendors, tracking costs and inventory, and ensuring that products are delivered on time and to the expected quality standards.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working cross-functionally, solving logistical challenges, and supporting the execution of fast-moving product launches.
Responsibilities
Vendor Sourcing & Management
  • Identify, evaluate, and build relationships with vendors, manufacturers, and suppliers specializing in collectible products.
  • Support vendor negotiations, including pricing, production timelines, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
  • Maintain strong vendor relationships and ensure clear communication throughout the procurement process.

Procurement & Inventory Management
  • Manage the purchasing process for collectible products across multiple categories, including trading cards, pins, coins, and other memorabilia.
  • Track inventory levels and support planning to ensure adequate product availability while minimizing overstock, shortages, or delays.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, costs, delivery timelines, inventory levels, and vendor performance.

Product Release Support
  • Partner closely with Product, Marketing, Operations, and Commerce teams to support monthly collectible product releases.
  • Help coordinate procurement timelines against launch calendars to ensure products are ready for release.
  • Proactively identify potential production, shipping, or inventory risks and escalate issues as needed.

Quality Assurance & Compliance
  • Ensure all collectible products meet VeeFriends' quality expectations and required specifications.
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to resolve quality concerns, production issues, or discrepancies.
  • Support compliance with relevant product, packaging, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Market Research & Reporting
  • Stay informed on trends across collectibles, trading cards, memorabilia, toys, and adjacent consumer product categories.
  • Research competitor offerings, vendor capabilities, pricing trends, and new product opportunities.
  • Provide regular updates on procurement status, cost tracking, vendor performance, and inventory needs.

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, buying, production coordination, supply chain, or a related operational role.
  • Experience working with collectibles, consumer products, entertainment products, trading cards, comics, toys, memorabilia, or limited-edition goods strongly preferred.
  • Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple product lines, timelines, and priorities at once.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Operations, Commerce, and Finance teams.
  • Experience with inventory management systems, procurement tools, or related software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Genuine interest in collectibles, character brands, pop culture, and emerging consumer trends.
