About Veriswap

Veriswap is a barter marketplace for trading cards, operating within the $10B+ sports card secondary market. We're focused on creating a new swap economy because we firmly believe that the swaps market is 5x larger than the cash sales market for collectibles. Our mission is empower collectors by enabling them to trade sports cards anytime, anywhere.

Our founding team comes from Columbia (ex-IB) and from Brown (ex-Google). Together, we're building something truly exciting, and we're looking for driven individuals to help us shape the future of collectibles.

Responsibilities

-90% operational (executing tasks), 10% strategy & planning. This is a bit different from what people from consulting / IB expect from a CoS role.

-Runs large and small projects from end to end (retreat planning, client dinners, show setups, partnerships with vendors, etc).

-Extension of the CEO: Establish and run operating Cadence of the company (team wide meetings, all hands, performance review process)

-Help scale GTM (white glove sales, trade nights, partnerships with card shops, card shows)

-Keeps team on track to achieve OKRs across Ops, Support, Product, etc

Location: Hybrid in New York City

Requirements

Ideal Candidate WIll Have

-Bias for Action: Prioritizes acting quickly above all else

-Low Ego: Willing do anything from booking plane tickets to putting together a financial model

-Curious: How can things be done differently or better? What is new ice we need to break?

-Emotionally Intelligent: Necessary due to cross functional nature (Operations, Product, Support, etc.) aspects of work

-Organized: Able to keep track of many projects at once and prioritize
