REPORTS TO:
IASC Special Education Director
PURPOSE:
The Special Education Program Consultant provides leadership, consultation, and technical assistance across member districts within the cooperative in all areas and settings of Special Education. This position focuses on building district capacity, supporting high-quality, evidence-based programming, and ensuring consistent implementation of best practices across multiple sites. The Consultant partners with district teams, families, and cooperative staff to improve outcomes for students with diverse learning and behavioral needs while ensuring compliance with Minnesota and federal special education requirements.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
181 Days + 20 summer days
Starting Pay: $50,639-$91,089* depending on education and previous experience. *Includes base compensation of $45,600 to $82,025 and 20 additional summer days paid at pro rata rate.
Itasca Area Schools Collaborative offers a comprehensive benefits package including: Contributions toward medical and dental insurance including a VEBA or HSA account, paid time off including sick and personal leave, district paid long-term disability insurance and contribution towards life insurance.
LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS:
MN License-Special Education required, ASD, EBD, or DCD preferred.
