Venesco, LLC is seeking a qualified Program Support Specialist (FSBF) to provide financial, accounting, and administrative support services in support of federal government operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with experience supporting financial management and accounting activities in a professional environment.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze and process financial and accounting reports, deliverables, accounts payable, cost accruals, and disbursements.
  • Apply financial reporting and accounting management practices related to federal government accounting standards.
  • Develop and maintain spreadsheets tracking obligations, accounts payable, cost accruals, and disbursements.
  • Assist with financial and accounting audits of complex contracts.
  • Analyze and prepare financial and accounting program activities and reports.
  • Develop operating procedures, directives, and guides related to financial and accounting processes.
  • Conduct studies to improve accumulation, processing, and reporting of financial and accounting data.
  • Support development of complex funding documents and ongoing contract administration activities.
  • Process funding requests into DEA financial management systems.
  • Perform complex fund control and financial tracking activities.
  • Analyze accounting, procurement, and financial deliverables while identifying and resolving discrepancies.
  • Attend meetings, working groups, and briefings as required.
  • Process invoices following detailed review and analysis of financial information.
  • Track, organize, validate, analyze, and report financial and accounting data related to procurement activities, agreements, receivables, and deliverables.
  • Maintain professional and respectful communication with staff, leadership, and stakeholders.

Requirements

Required Qualifications
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills.
  • Ability to multitask effectively and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience supporting financial, accounting, budgeting, or program administration activities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret financial and accounting data.
  • Experience preparing reports, spreadsheets, and financial tracking documentation.
