This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility where you will play a pivotal role in helping patients regain mobility, improve their quality of life, and achieve their individual health goals.

Work Environment

This position is based onsite in our cutting-edge rehabilitation facility, offering a collaborative and supportive environment. Our team of qualified professionals, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and rehabilitation aides, works closely together to ensure that patients receive comprehensive care tailored to their specific needs. Typically, you will work a schedule from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, allowing for a balanced work-life routine.

  • Conduct thorough assessments of new patients to develop individualized treatment plans that target their unique health objectives.
  • Provide hands-on physical therapy care, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and neuromuscular re-education, to facilitate optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain a manageable caseload, allowing for sufficient time to interact with and effectively treat each patient.
  • Implement cost-effective and innovative treatment interventions to improve patient mobility and strength.
  • Encourage adherence to non-surgical treatment options to reduce reliance on medication and promote natural healing.
  • Regularly evaluate and document patient progress, updating care plans as necessary to reflect changes in their condition.
  • Motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey while fostering a supportive environment that promotes recovery and encouragement.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care and address all aspects of patient health.
  • Actively participate in continuous professional development and stay informed about the latest advancements in physical therapy techniques.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily involve treating diverse adult patients with varying degrees of orthopedic and sports-related injuries. Many of our patients are looking to recover from surgery or chronic pain and improve their overall mobility. You'll use your expertise to tailor treatments to meet the individual needs of each patient and guide them toward achieving their rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Current Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia with no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
  • Strong foundation in orthopedic outpatient care derived from at least 2 years of hands-on experience.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing various manual therapy techniques and developing effective exercise programs.
  • Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, for accurate and efficient documentation.
  • Commitment to providing evidence-based interventions and staying up to date with current physical therapy practices and research.
Preferred Experience
  • Specialization or certifications in specific areas of physical therapy, such as sports rehabilitation or orthopedic manual therapies.
  • Prior experience working in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary outpatient clinic setting.
Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
