• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients’ physical abilities, limitations, and overall health status to establish effective treatment goals and plans based on physician directives.

• Implement individualized treatment programs utilizing a variety of modalities and therapeutic exercises aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, and functional independence.

• Document all patient interactions, evaluations, treatments, and outcomes clearly and accurately, ensuring legal compliance and maintaining high standards of professional practice.

• Supervise and guide the activities of Physical Therapy Assistants and support personnel, ensuring that patient care is delivered effectively and consistently.

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to review patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to maximize recovery potential.

• Engage with patients and their families to educate them on treatment processes, rehabilitation exercises, and encourage adherence to plans for optimal outcomes.

This role entails working primarily with individuals recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic illnesses. Expect to manage a diverse caseload ranging from athletes with sports injuries to elderly patients requiring rehabilitation post-surgery. Your direct intervention will play a crucial role in improving their mobility, strength, and overall quality of life, tracking their progress, and adjusting treatments accordingly to meet evolving needs.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Active Physical Therapist license in the State of Virginia.

• Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills for effective patient interaction and collaboration with team members.

• Proficient computer skills, including experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems for documentation and reporting.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a Physical Therapy setting, with a preferable concentration in outpatient rehabilitation.

• Experience working with various patient demographics and a range of physical conditions is advantageous.

Clear Skies Therapy LLC offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
