Mend Care Counseling, LLC is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team in a full-time remote role. • Conduct thorough assessments to identify the mental health needs of clients and develop tailored treatment plans that align with evidence-based practices.
• Deliver individual therapy sessions, utilizing a range of therapeutic modalities to address issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges.
• Consult with clients on various mental health programs available in the community, including educational institutions and support services for incarcerated individuals.
• Coordinate care by facilitating referrals to community resources and programs that enhance clients’ access to necessary services.
• Empower clients and their families through education and support strategies that promote adherence to mental health treatment plans and holistic well-being.
• Design and implement group therapy sessions, when appropriate, to foster community and mutual support among clients facing similar challenges.
• Document all patient interactions and maintain accurate treatment records in compliance with legal standards and organizational policies.

Our client base encompasses individuals from various backgrounds, including children, adolescents, adults, and families needing mental health support. Many of our clients struggle with challenges related to trauma, mood disorders, and behavioral issues. • A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
• A minimum of two years of experience in providing mental health counseling, showcasing your ability to handle a caseload effectively.
• In-depth knowledge of mental health theories, treatments, and interventions that address a range of psychological issues.
• Familiarity with current trends and practices in the mental health field, including effective interview techniques and therapeutic frameworks.

• Experience with specific populations, such as children, adolescents, or individuals dealing with substance use disorders, is advantageous.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage patient care documentation efficiently.
• Previous involvement with community mental health resources and programs can enhance service delivery for our clients.
