Job Description

As a Cold Storage Lumper, you will be responsible for unloading, sorting, and moving products in a refrigerated warehouse environment. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely in cold temperatures. You will support warehouse operations by ensuring products are handled efficiently and accurately while meeting productivity and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Unload freight from inbound trailers and shipping containers
  • Sort, stack, palletize, and organize products for storage or shipment
  • Move products throughout the warehouse using pallet jacks and other material-handling equipment
  • Verify product counts and inspect shipments for damage or discrepancies
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment while following all safety procedures

 

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Previous warehouse, lumper, or material handling experience preferred
  • Ability to work in cold storage temperatures for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
  • Reliable attendance and ability to work overtime when required
