Job description

Cold Storage Sanitation Associate

Are you built for the cold and detail-oriented, reliable, and ready to make a difference behind the scenes? As a Cold Storage Sanitation Associate at CJ Logistics, you'll help maintain a clean, safe, and efficient environment in our cold storage logistics center. If you enjoy working with your hands, operating maintenance equipment, and ensuring everything stays in top shape, this role is for you!

  • Pay Range: $14.25/hour + $3.25 per hour cold storage premium

  • Schedule: 3rd Shift Sun - Thur 10:30pm - 7:00am

What You'll Do:
  • Keep It Clean: Follow a set sanitation schedule and provide general janitorial services for the cold storage logistics center.

  • Handle Maintenance: Safely operate equipment and assist with maintenance tasks in a cold environment.

  • Monitor Supplies: Keep track of sanitation inventory and alert the team when supplies need replenishing.

  • Stay on Task: Follow directions, complete tasks on time, and pitch in wherever needed.

  • Monitor and maintain cold storage temperature standards

  • Take on related duties — and grow your skills along the way!

What We're Looking For:
  • Handy skills – Know how to operate basic tools and equipment safely.

  • Comfortable working full shifts in cold storage/freezer environments.

  • Physical ready – Comfortable lifting up to 25 lbs and working at heights up to 25 feet.

  • Detail-oriented – Ability to follow instructions and complete paperwork accurately.

  • Safety first – Knowledge of handling chemicals per OSHA guidelines.

  • A true team player who works toward common goals

  • Brings a positive attitude and strong work ethic every day

  • Experience or training in: GMP, HACCP, and Allergen protocols

  • Strong knowledge of safety procedures in cold storage settings
