Reach Truck Operator

Job Summary

The Reach Truck Operator OR EPJ is responsible for safely and efficiently moving, storing, and retrieving automotive parts and warehouse materials within the distribution center. The position supports daily warehouse operations by maintaining accurate inventory, fulfilling orders, and keeping the work area organized and safe.

Responsibilities

  • Operate a reach truck safely to move and store inventory.
  • Load, unload, and transport automotive parts throughout the warehouse.
  • Retrieve products from storage locations and prepare orders for shipment.
  • Use RF scanners or warehouse technology to locate and track inventory.
  • Inspect products and verify quantities and part numbers.
  • Maintain organized storage areas and keep aisles clear.
  • Follow company safety procedures and warehouse operating standards.
  • Perform lifting, carrying, bending, standing, and other physical warehouse duties.
  • Work efficiently while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Report damaged products, equipment issues, or inventory discrepancies to management.
  • Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.

Qualifications

  • Previous warehouse or distribution-center experience preferred.
  • Reach truck or powered industrial equipment experience preferred.
  • Ability to safely lift and move automotive parts and other warehouse materials.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to workplace safety.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
