Moving โ€“ Join Our 1st Shift Picking & Packaging Team!
Are you reliable, motivated, and ready to work in a fast-paced environment? Weโ€™re hiring Weekend Picking & Packaging Associates to join our team in a cold storage facility on the east side of Indianapolis. In this role, youโ€™ll help prepare and package food products that reach customers across the country, all while working in a clean, temperature-controlled environment.
Location: East Side of Indianapolis
Schedule: Thursday-Monday, 6:00 AM โ€“ 6:00 PM
Pay Rate: $17.50/hour
Work Environment: Cold storage facility (around 30ยฐF)
Job Summary
As a Picking & Packaging Associate, youโ€™ll be responsible for accurately selecting, packaging, and labeling food products according to customer orders. Youโ€™ll work closely with your team to ensure all products are handled safely, efficiently, and meet quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Pick and package food items according to order specifications. Verify product codes, quantities, and quality before packaging. Ensure proper labeling and sealing of all packaged products. Maintain accuracy and organization in the work area. Follow all food safety, GMP, and sanitation guidelines. Work efficiently in a refrigerated environment while meeting productivity goals. Communicate any product or packaging issues to your supervisor. Keep work areas clean and free of debris. Perform other duties as assigned to support production goals.
What Youโ€™ll Need
Prior experience in warehouse, food production, or packaging is preferred but not required. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for long periods. Comfort working in cold environments around 30ยฐF. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Dependable attendance and a teamwork mindset. Availability to work weekends and occasional overtime.
