Primary Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts and Data experts to capture analytical requirements form
  • Translate requirements into BI solutions that are effective, easy to use, and well performing
  • Work closely with ETL developers, DBAs, Project Managers and other BI developers
  • Create and Participate in user training
  • Support user ad-hoc requests
  • Experience in promoting Self Service BI across the Enterprise
  • Get hands on with respect to urgent asks on data and analytics when needed

Job Qualifications
  • Experience with BI development: Cognos Analytics AND/OR JasperSoft
  • In-depth knowledge of Cognos Analytic tools, including but not limited to, Framework Manager, Report Studio, Powerplay Studio, Event Studio and Analysis Studio
  • Ability to Manage Jasper Reports Export Import process in various environment
  • Strong SQL skills for development of custom SQL and reporting views
  • Knowledge of Agile principles and preferred experience with Azure tools: Data Factory and Dev Ops
  • Experience with performance tuning
  • Experience with effective Data Visualization principles
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to liaise with Business and IT leadership on a regular basis
  • Proven experience in prioritizing and delegating work to meet deadline objectives and quality metrics
  • Experience in promoting Self Service BI across organizations
  • Experience in creating dashboards, scorecards, and reports throughout the development cycle
  • Ability to collaborate with (internal) customers to understand business requirements and translate those into actionable plans
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field preferred
  • Airline Industry Experience preferred
