Job description

Job Summary
Android Automotive Production Quality Engineer-
Reproduce partner/test-driving bugs on partner benches Google ref hardware and/or Google vehicles
Perform full-regressions and feature-specific testing on partner benches Google Reference hardware and/or Google vehicles
Write bug / test reports perform a preliminary analysis and regularly report the progress in Google-powered dashboards
Write test-plans and validation plans
Responsibilities
Stationary test: execution of test cases for head units on benches or standing vehicles reproduction of bugs on lab benches and vehicles? Vehicle IT: handling of flashing and updates of the vehicle software as informed and described by Google via detailed documentation and evaluation of test cases both personally performed and performed by other Android Auto team members? Test Driving: driving permit for passenger vehicles in Germany execution of drive tests as provided by Google via detailed documentation. Proof of driving skills to operate infotainment tests.? Maintain a list of locale [e.g. language local equipment & etc]-specific test casesDriver permit/Driver license to drive locally and test ? Maintain a list of OEM-specific test cases for GAS pre-release testing if any.? Experience with Android framework ecosystem and test automation.? Experience with Android compatibility & test frameworks (CDD VTS ATS etc.).? Experience in automotive infotainment test and validation (SIL HIL)
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $84K to 96K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
