Job Summary:

The job of a Quality Assurance Technician II is a highly focused position to ensure that the products manufactured fits the organizations purpose, any and all legal requirements, meets specifications and customer expectations. The QA Technician II documents the product’s test results and provides suggestions required to attain the best quality product possible.  This position requires less supervision on a day-to-day basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Comply with Federal, State, Governmental and or any other appropriate regulatory laws or guidelines
  • Ensure standards are met in the areas of Food Safety and Product Quality
  • Proficiency in performing all required pre, post and in-line production tests required for One Cup and Traditional Packaging of coffee products     
  • Proficiency in performing all tests and functions under Cupping
  •  All analytical testing, Primary and secondary material verification, Ingredients and finished product testing, Code verification and Sampling collection
  •  Proficiency in performing the additional more advanced analytical testing and quality verifications for the processing of Roasting, Grinding and Blending
  • Flavor and Aroma Analysis, Finished products (One Cup, Traditional, Roasting, Blending), Clean system, system purge, lapse product, Oil sensory evaluation, Agtron color verification and Grind Analysis
  • Intra-departmental shift report communication
  • Daily REC filings
  • Report all non-conformances to Quality Management Team
  • Perform any other task or special assignments as required by the Quality Supervisor, Quality Manager, SQF Practitioner and/or QA Lead
  • Work in a safe manner, following all safety rules and procedures
  • Support, follow and train on Food Safety Culture

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Manufacturing environment experience a plus

Requirements:

  • Basic math concepts 
  • Knowledge of Food Safety Regulations  
  •  Good interpretive and/or reactive skills

Comply with all company policies and procedures, demonstrating a strong commitment to Food Safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in support of product integrity, operational excellence, and regulatory compliance

Location: Onsite-Lincon, CA

Schedule: Mon-Fri 6:00pm- 2:30am **Some Weekends**

Pay: $26.80 per hour
