Job Summary
The Autonomous Coding Quality and Optimization Analyst will evaluate autonomous coding performance, identify opportunities to improve automation outcomes, and help ensure coding quality, compliance, and customer value as Solventum scales AI-enabled coding capabilities. This role analyzes coding and automation data, investigates trends and anomalies, partners across coding, compliance, reporting, data science, engineering, and customer-facing teams, and translates findings into actionable recommendations that support responsible automation growth, risk mitigation, and measurable operational impact.

As an Autonomous Automation Analyst, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
  • Analyzing autonomous coding outputs against benchmarks to evaluate performance metrics, identify trends, and support automation performance insights.
  • Identifying clinical scenarios, chart types, specialties, and workflows that are ready for increased automation scale.
  • Detecting systemic AI errors, compliance concerns, coding variation, and data anomalies that may require further review or escalation.
  • Collaborating with reporting, data science, engineering, compliance, clinical, coding, and content teams to translate findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Communicating insights, risks, opportunities, and customer impact clearly to leadership, stakeholders, and customer-facing teams.

Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Health Information Management, Healthcare Informatics, Data Analytics, or a related discipline AND Eight (8) years complex inpatient and outpatient facility coding, revenue cycle, healthcare technology experience.

OR
  • High School Diploma/GED or higher AND Twelve (12) years of direct healthcare revenue cycle, medical coding, healthcare technology experience.

AND
In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:
  • Active facility coding certification such as CCS, COC, RHIA, or RHIT
  • Experience with Electronic Health Record systems, Computer-Assisted Coding solutions, autonomous coding engines, or healthcare automation technologies
  • Experience analyzing coding, revenue cycle, automation, quality, compliance, or operational performance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Experience collaborating across technical, clinical, compliance, coding, reporting, or customer-facing teams to communicate findings and drive resolution
  • Ability to present insights, ROI considerations, risks, and recommendations clearly to leadership, stakeholders, and customers

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
  • Advanced analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate data anomalies and coding variation
  • Executive-level communication and presentation skills, including the ability to translate automation findings, ROI statistics, and customer impact into clear recommendations
  • Ability to bridge technical engineering, clinical, compliance, coding, reporting, and customer-facing teams to resolve issues and scale automation responsibly

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $125,600 - $172,700, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
