Job description

The Medical Coder is responsible for assigning ICD-10-CM and/or CPT/HCPCS codes as appropriate and abstracting pertinent information from patient records.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must hold at least one of the following certifications: RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CCS-P, CPC, CPC-H (COC) for a minimum of 2 years and have a minimum of 2 years relevant coding experience
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
