Client: TN DOH Job ID: 66056 Position: Registered Nurse 1 Location: Jackson, TN Duration: 12+ Months (Possibility of Extension) Position Summary This position will cover Hardeman County Duties and Responsibilities: · Under general supervision, perform direct clinical services utilizing current nursing protocols and guidelines. · Document care provided thoroughly in the electronic medical record at the time the service is rendered. This will be measured by monthly chart reviews and bi-annual QI audit and/or internal audits. · Accurately document and code patient visits according to PHN Protocol and TDH Billing and Codes Manual. · Help achieve goals by promoting a supportive team environment through actions such as offering to assist coworkers, willingly accepting new responsibilities as assigned, and working together to strategize ways to become more effective and efficient as a team. · Contribute to a culture of safety through following medication guidelines of the electronic health record, bloodborne pathogen standards, infection control, and laboratory guidelines. · Follow vaccine storage and handling guidelines, including monitoring digital data loggers and reporting all temperature excursions to Nursing Supervisor/TIP/ Regional Pharmacist. · Follow processes outlined by Vaccine/ Medication Safety Initiative, medication guidelines of the electronic health record, bloodborne pathogen standards, infection control and laboratory guidelines. Education and Experience and Qualifications: · Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse. · Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Tennessee or holds a privilege to practice in the State of Tennessee under the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC). A valid motor vehicle operator license may be required.
