About This Role



We're on the hunt for talented teachers to join our team at Empowering Future Leaders Academy. If you're passionate about nurturing young minds and embodying a code of honor, we want to hear from you. Get in touch with us via email to request an application, or give us a call during business hours at 7AM to 6 PM. We're located at 1525 Power Plant Parkway, Hampton, VA 23669.


What You'll Do

Duties to include but not limited to:

  • Welcoming children and their parents with a contagious enthusiasm every day
  • Developing and structuring lesson plans to meet the needs of our students
  • Ensuring that curriculum is delivered comprehensively each day
  • Ensuring the safety and well-being of the children at all times
  • Enforcing our rules and policies with fairness and consistency
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
  • Lifting objects weighing up to 30 pounds, as needed
  • Providing meal service when required

Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Able to pass a thorough background check
  • Previous experience working with children
  • Holding a valid CPR/First Aid certificate

  • Previous experience in childcare settings
