Job description

Lead Preschool Teacher — Reggio's Treehouse

Reggio's Treehouse is looking for a passionate, creative educator who believes children are capable, curious learners — and who's excited to help them prove it every day.

Rooted in the Reggio Emilia philosophy, we foster self-directed learning and critical thinking through play. Our educators don't just teach — they facilitate wonder, document discovery, and help shape the thinkers of tomorrow.

About the Role

As a Lead Facilitator, you'll be a collaborative, reflective practitioner who works closely with our Director and Assistant Director to create a rich, standards-aligned learning environment. You'll design and implement meaningful provocations, observe and document student experiences, and partner with families to support each child's unique growth.

What You'll Do

  • Plan and deliver lessons tailored to individual student needs and developmental stages
  • Design and implement engaging, inquiry-based provocations rooted in Project Based Learning
  • Observe, assess, and document student progress using digital tools, submitting records to the Assistant Director in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with fellow educators to promote interdisciplinary, cross-curricular learning
  • Build strong, communicative relationships with families — including regular updates and parent meetings
  • Uphold child safety and welfare as a top priority at all times
  • Maintain compliance with Reggio's Treehouse standards and State Licensing requirements
  • Participate in school events, field trips, and ongoing professional development

What You Bring

Required:

  • CDA or Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a licensed childcare facility, kindergarten, or early childhood program
  • Strong organizational skills, professionalism, and dependability
  • Comfort with technology for documentation and communication

Preferred:

  • Experience in a Reggio Emilia-inspired environment
  • Familiarity with Project Based Learning
  • Teacher certification or licensure

What We Offer

We invest in our educators just as we invest in our students.

  • ???? Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance
  • ???? Life Insurance
  • ???? Paid Time Off
  • ???? 401(k) Plan
  • ???? Professional Development Assistance
  • ???? Employee Discounts & Referral Program
