Night & Weekend Educator Opportunity

Brilliant Beginnings Learning Center is seeking dynamic and compassionate educators to join our night and weekend team. This role supports our Christian-based learning curriculum and serves children from 6 weeks to 12 years old in a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment.

What You'll Do
  • Support the implementation of curriculum activities and foster a sense of community among children.
  • Actively participate in activities and maintain a well-organized and clean classroom environment.
  • Establish and maintain regular communication with parents to ensure they are informed and involved in their child’s development.
  • Model self-help and good hygiene behaviors to promote healthy habits in children.
  • Adhere to all center policies and state regulations to ensure a safe and supportive environment.

  • Must have experience working with children,
  • Can successfully complete a Virginia State Background Check
  • Would be willing to take a PPD screening.
  • High energy.
  • Ability to work well with others.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills.
  • An understanding of child development.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Must clear full background check and must pass health screening.
  • A genuine love / interest in children's total development

Nice To Haves
  • Prior professional experience in child care, ideally within the past year.
  • Current Infant/Child CPR and First Aid certification would be a valuable asset.
