Scheduler - Home Instead
Home Instead is hiring a Full-Time Scheduler for our Daphne, AL office!
We are looking for an organized, dependable, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Scheduler. The Scheduler plays an important role in coordinating caregiver schedules and ensuring our clients receive the consistent, quality care they need.
This is a fast-paced position where things can change throughout the day. The ideal candidate is someone who can multitask, communicate effectively, solve problems quickly, and remain calm and professional when unexpected situations arise.
Schedule
  • Monday - Friday
  • 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
  • Participation in a rotating on-call schedule is required

Job Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain caregiver and client schedules
  • Coordinate caregiver assignments based on client needs, caregiver availability, and qualifications
  • Communicate with caregivers and clients by phone throughout the day
  • Handle caregiver call-outs, schedule changes, and last-minute coverage needs
  • Make frequent phone calls and respond to incoming calls in a professional and timely manner
  • Monitor schedules and proactively identify potential coverage issues
  • Work closely with the office team to resolve scheduling concerns
  • Accurately enter and update information in computer systems
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client and employee records
  • Follow company policies and procedures related to scheduling and client care
  • Participate in the rotating on-call schedule
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients, their families, and caregivers
  • Assist with other office responsibilities as needed
