Job description

Que Technology Group, Inc., is seeking a Configuration Manager to implement and maintain configuration management and version control processes for hardware and software systems across the full lifecycle. This role ensures configuration integrity and traceability, manages baselines, enforces
standardized processes, utilizes CM tools, and supports audits and change control.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:  

  • Lead the development and enforcement of hardware and software version controlprocesses, policies, and procedures
  • Establish and maintain configuration baselines and ensure proper versioning of allconfiguration items ﴾CIs﴿
  • Manage end‐to‐end configuration control processes, including change tracking,impact analysis, approvals, and audit readiness
  • Utilize configuration management tools ﴾e.g., DOORS, Eclipse﴿ to store, track, andmanage configuration items
  • Support build, integration, testing, and release environments, ensuring configurationintegrity and traceability
  • Develop and document CM processes, including automated build and releaseprocedures aligned with standards
  • Perform configuration audits, support Change Control Board ﴾CCB﴿ activities, andensure end‐to‐end configuration traceability

Required Qualifications

  • Six ﴾6﴿ years of experience in configuration management and version control on
    programs/contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
  • Bachelor's degree in technical or business discipline from an accredited college or
    university ﴾or four ﴾4﴿ additional years of CM experience in lieu of degree﴿
  • Experience implementing and managing hardware and software configuration
    baselines and version control systems
  • If supporting a developmental program: at least one ﴾1﴿ year of experience using a
    source code control system ﴾e.g., Git, SVN, or equivalent﴿ in a similar environment

  • TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
