Job description

POSITION SUMMARY
Executes daily cannabis cultivation operations under the supervision of the Cultivation Manager and Cultivation Supervisor(s). Responsible for hands-on plant care and maintaining cultivation standards to ensure healthy plant development and quality production. Reports to the Cultivation General Manager and works collaboratively with the cultivation team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Cultivation Operations
  • Execute daily and weekly cultivation tasks including feeding, nutrient brewing and maintenance, cleaning, trellising, topping, super cropping, pruning, transplanting, IPM applications, training, water delivery, and plant monitoring via systems
  • Monitor plant health and development, identifying issues such as pests, disease, or nutrient deficiencies
  • Execute cultivation tasks according to established SOPs and schedules
  • Assist with transplanting, and plant movement activities
  • Report plant health issues, equipment problems, or safety concerns to Cultivation Supervisor(s) and Garden Manager
  • Processes and prepares coco coir for transplants
Facility Maintenance & Sanitation
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of grow rooms, equipment, and work areas
  • Clean and sanitize tools, pots, trays, cultivation equipment, and cultivation rooms.
  • Remove plant waste and maintain organized work areas
  • Assist with general facility maintenance tasks as needed
Documentation & Compliance
  • Accurately document daily/weekly cultivation activities in necessary cultivation logs
  • Follow all Colorado MED regulations and company compliance policies

QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications
  • Current MED badge holder
  • Reliable transportation
  • Flexibility in schedule (Monday-Friday, weekends on rare occasions)
  • Ability to work independently and in teams
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience with cannabis cultivation

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during cultivation activities
  • Comfortable working in warm, humid environments with bright lighting
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Capable of bending, kneeling, and reaching during plant care activities
  • Ability to work atop ladders with equipment
