To design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications on IBM Mainframe systems using COBOL. The role focuses on delivering robust and efficient solutions within the banking domain, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and supporting critical business operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance COBOL-based applications on IBM Mainframe
  • Analyse business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Work with DB2 databases to design, query, and optimize data processes
  • Perform code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, QA, and DevOps
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint delivery
  • Support production systems, including incident resolution and performance tuning
  • Maintain system and technical documentation
  • Ensure compliance with banking regulations and internal governance standards
Technical Skills & Requirements:
  • Solid experience with IBM Mainframe technologies (e.g., JCL, CICS, DB2)
  • Proficiency in SQL and DB2 database management
  • Experience with Azure DevOps (CI/CD pipelines, work item tracking)
  • Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies
  • Working knowledge of VB.Net and/or C#
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills:
