This is on Crew D which is day shift. They are doing a 3/2/2/3 12 hour shifts from 6am to 6 pm.
| WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The Boiler Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of steam plant equipment, including coal and oil-fired boilers, pumps, motors, and reverse osmosis systems. This role ensures compliance with Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM) standards and supports the maintenance and operation of heating systems in state facilities.
| WHAT YOU GET TO DO
โ€ข Operate, monitor, and maintain high-pressure and low-pressure boilers used in EV production and facility operations.
โ€ข Conduct routine inspections and performance checks to ensure optimal boiler efficiency and safety.
โ€ข Monitor gauges, meters, and control systems to detect and troubleshoot issues.
โ€ข Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on boiler systems, pumps, valves, and related equipment.
โ€ข Maintain accurate logs of boiler performance, maintenance activities, and safety checks.
โ€ข Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations, including emissions standards.
