Job description

Title: Senior IT Program Manager / Technical Program Manager

Location: Columbus, OH 

Duration: Long-Term Contract

Interview Process: Webcam Interview

Visa: H1B, OPT EAD, H4 EAD 

Mode: REMOTE/HYBRID

 
  • Lead and manage highly complex IT projects and programs from initiation through implementation.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, resource allocations, and status reports.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including business, technical, infrastructure, and vendor resources.
  • Manage project scope, risks, issues, dependencies, and change control processes.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between project teams, stakeholders, and executive leadership.
  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings, status reviews, and executive presentations.
  • Drive project governance, compliance, and reporting activities.
  • Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and ensure solutions meet operational needs.
  • Support technology initiatives involving application development, software upgrades, infrastructure modernization, and cloud-based solutions.
  • Provide leadership, mentoring, and coaching to project team members.
  • Coordinate testing, deployment, training, and transition-to-support activities.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and extensive project management experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience managing enterprise-level IT projects and programs.
  • Proven experience leading:
    • Application Development Projects
    • Software Refresh/Upgrade Initiatives
    • Infrastructure Modernization Projects
    • Cloud Technology Implementations and Migrations
  • Experience managing project budgets, resource planning, and cost forecasting.
  • Expertise in project lifecycle management including:

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience coordinating large, cross-functional teams.
