Description

Day Shift: Hours variable based on co-op hours, to be determined with school.


Overview: As a General Laborer Co-op for Keel Midwest, you will be responsible for assisting staff with the upkeep and cleanliness of the facility and other miscellaneous general labor tasks.


Job Functions:

  • General labor duties as assigned.
  • Cleaning walls, floors, equipment and other areas of the facility.
  • Restocking cleaning supplies and maintaining janitorial closest in a clean, organized, and safe manner.
  • Disposing of waste, sanitation of facilities, and other related areas of the facilities and ground duties as assigned.


Physical Demands: Frequent standing, sitting, bending, stooping, and twisting. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. without mechanical assistance.


Work Environment: Typical shop floor environment, with some exposure to machinery, fumes, and debris from machining. Dirt and oil will be common.


Requirements

  • Must be a current high school student.
  • Must be able to follow basic verbal and written instructions.
  • Must have good communication skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Must be punctual, reliable, ad organized with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
