Metrology Engineering Co-op, Fall 2026

THE ROLE
Our site in Colorado Springs, CO is seeking a Metrology Engineering Co-op to join our Process Engineering team for the Fall season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration.
In this role, you will create measurement programs that precisely and accurately measure a wide variety of Entegris products. Further, you will standardize metrology practices, automate routine tasks, and communicate these improvements effectively.
What You'll Do
  • Learn CMM programming starting at a basic level and develop advanced skills.

  • Write, validate, and qualify CMM programs for injection molded products.

  • Improve and create metrology documentation and quality standards.

  • Provide timely, accurate dimensional feedback to manufacturing and design teams.

  • Participate in root cause investigations for nonconforming material and customer complaints.

  • Analyze SPC data to identify trends, perform capability analysis, or trace nonconforming products.

  • Participate in the Entegris change management system (as needed).

What We Seek
  • Leadership and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently as well as cross-functionally across departments.

  • Experience performing data-driven root cause analysis (Excel, Minitab, etc.).

  • Ability to prioritize, plan, and execute on multiple, disparate projects.

Desired Major(s) & Graduation Year
  • Mechanical Engineering, graduating in December 2026 or later.

  • Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field will also be considered.

Eligibility
  • Must be a currently enrolled student.
  • Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in July through December.
  • Must be familiar with the universities requirements to participate in a co-op program.

Compensation: $20-$32 hourly range with actual pay dependent on graduation year and candidate skillset
