Job description

We are seeking an System Engineer to join our team! You will bring your professional skills and excellent development capabilities to contribute to the company's success.

Responsibilities:

1. Architect software solutions using the appropriate technologies from database to AI to User Interface tools.

2. Provide our clients with real time, actionable information reports about their project

3. Develop quality code in accordance with established ACME and client standards

4. Work in team environment with engineers and designers from ACME, partners, and clients

5. Travel to customer sites for planning meetings, commissioning, and testing

6. Grow into position leading a team of engineers and technicians to provide automation and information solutions

7. Design and implement industry software applications to aggregate manufacturing systems

8. Develop quality code in accordance with established ACME and client standards

9. Manually configure technical solutions and identify optimization opportunities

10. Install and commission systems connected to the plant floor devices at customer sites

Technology Used:

1. Relational Databases and Historians (MS SQL Server, Oracle, etc.)

2. VBA/VB script/C# syntax

3. SCADA & PLC

Qualifications:

1. Degree in a Technical Field, related to Engineering, Systems, Computer Sciences, or Software

2. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

3. Ability to multi-task and handle multiple concurrent projects

4. Passionate about problem solving and developing solutions

5. Demonstrated written and oral communication skills

Pertinent Experience:

1. Relevant Co-op experience

2. Manufacturing process knowledge

3. Object Oriented Programming (C#, C++, VB, .NET, etc.)

4. Design and Implementation of Relational/Document Databases and Historians (MS SQL Server, Oracle, etc.)

5. Proficient in PLC and SCADA coding.
