Job description

Description of Role:

As a Corporate Accounts -- Channel Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing new business relationships and expanding existing customer relationships that fall within the assigned vertical market. You will be tasked to become an expert in Bay Alarm's services and how they apply to each potential customer's needs.

The Corporate Accounts Group is the fastest growing sales department at Bay Alarm Company and is built around a strong team atmosphere. This role demands someone who fits our amazing company culture, cares about customers needs, and is driven by a desire to do work with a purpose. The ideal candidate is someone who has a track record of meeting and exceeding their sales goals while continuing to grow their account base.

Job Duties:

  • Proactively establish and maintain working relationships with all Channel Sales customers.
  • Prospecting to develop new leads within the assigned vertical market.
  • Meet with prospective customers in order to sell new Bay Alarm services.
  • Process all appropriate documentation.
  • Follow-up with customers to ensure complete satisfaction.
  • Resolve customer issues and concerns.
  • Generate detailed proposals.
  • Coordinate installations and orientations.
  • All other miscellaneous responsibilities and other job duties as assigned

Qualification of Candidates:

  • 2-5 years sales experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills required
  • Must be a self-starter and have good negotiating skills
  • Valid CA driver's license and clean driving record required
  • Basic data entry and retrieval skills required
  • Intermediate word processing and basic spreadsheet competence preferred
