Position Summary - Regional Sales Executive - New York
The Regional Sales Executive (RSE) is responsible for driving sustained adoption of the Syn-One Test and other diagnostic products developed by CND Life Sciences to support clinicians diagnosing neurological disorders. This role involves delivering clinical and technical information to healthcare providers and their patients to help achieve the company's sales goals. As a key member of the sales team, the RSE works in close partnership with colleagues across Sales, Clinical Services, and CND leadership.
What you'll be doing:
Regional Market Development and Direct Sales
• Develop and execute a comprehensive territory business plan to meet or exceed assigned sales objectives.
• Demonstrate expertise in product and procedure knowledge, sales strategy and business acumen to drive consistent results.
• Conduct clinical in-service training sessions and educate health care providers on the appropriate use of CND Life Science's products.
• Effectively communicate product value within the context of pricing and reimbursement landscapes relevant to CND offerings.
• Stay current on internal communications using email, voicemail, CRM tools, virtual meetings and company calls.
• Complete administrative duties including CRM documentation of customer interactions, expense reports and required trainings.
• Uphold the highest ethical standards and adhere strictly to CND's compliance policies.
• Create and implement targeted outreach plans to onboard new neurology practices, including those focused on movement disorders, cognitive impairment, autonomic dysfunction, sleep disorders and general neurology.
• Continuously strengthen selling capabilities through ongoing training and mastering of both in-person and digital engagement techniques.
• Gain in-depth knowledge of customer practice patterns, diagnostic workflows and skin biopsy capabilities.
• Establish and nurture relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs); conduct educational programs to promote appropriate adoption of CND products.
• Leverage company resources, including marketing programs and Medical Affairs expertise to support sales success.
• Use CRM and other sales tools effectively to improve productivity, track performance and manage customer engagement.
Collaboration on Ongoing Account Management
• Partner regularly with Clinical Services to support clinician customers post-implementation.
• Follow established onboarding pre-sales in collaboration with CAMs to ensure a seamless transition for new accounts.
• Align on the customer management protocols to ensure coordinated communication, account ownership and support services.
• Participate in joint Sales and Clinical Services meetings to assess account performance, review KPIs, and identify areas for improvement.
• Execute strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and increase loyalty to CND's products.
• Use Salesforce CRM as the primary tool for managing customer relationships, recording all relevant interactions and account activity.
• Implement account retention procedures to minimize dormancy (90+ days without orders) and inactivity (180+ days without orders).
• Monitor changes in customer personnel, organizational structure, and practice patterns that may affect product usage.
• Maintain professionalism, ethics and compliance in all clinician interactions, while being mindful of the patient impact of CND's diagnostics offerings.
• Engage CND's Pathology Services Group and Medical Affairs team through Clinical services when additional expertise is needed.
Requirements
What you will need:
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
• Minimum of 5 years of outside sales experience, including at least 3 years in medical sales to clinicians or clinical teams.
• Preferred experience in clinical neurology sales and/or market, with existing relationships with neurology practices within the assigned territory.
• Track record of exceeding sales targets, with added consideration for candidates experienced in diagnostic sales.
• Solid understanding of medical technology sales, territory management, and customer relationship development.
• Proficiency with Salesforce.com and familiarity with digital sales campaign tools.
• Knowledge of healthcare markets, with insight into clinician and patient customer needs and dynamics.
• Interest in working in a start-up environment with the ability to manage responsibilities simultaneously.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with confidence in presenting to internal teams and leaders.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality deliverables and meeting deadlines.
• Self-motivated, proactive work style with a willingness to take initiative under appropriate guidance.
